Configure expiration

Expiration can be configured in different ways depending on your needs. You can set a specific date after which the link will no longer be available, which is ideal for time-limited promotions. You can also define a maximum number of total clicks, allowing access to be restricted once that limit is reached.

On the link editing screen, you’ll find a meta box where you can configure the desired expiration type.

Date

The expiration by date allows you to set a specific date and time when the link will stop redirecting to its original destination. This is ideal for time-limited promotions or content. Additionally, you can define an Expired URL, which will be the new destination after the link expires.

Clicks

Click-based expiration allows you to limit the redirection of a link after it has reached a predefined total number of clicks. Once the link has been clicked as many times as specified, the redirection will automatically stop. By using the Expired URL option, you can redirect users to a different destination after the link has expired.

Unique clicks

Unique clicks expiration allows you to limit the redirection of a link based on the number of individual users who have accessed it. Once the predefined number of unique clicks has been reached, the link will stop redirecting to its original destination. By using the Expired URL option, you can redirect users to an alternative destination once the link has expired.
